Council Structure

The Albemarle RC&D  is governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Two representatives, one from local government and another from the Soil & Water Conservation District, are appointed from each of 10 counties in northeast North Carolina.  Local civic or business leaders may be appointed as at-large members as additional representatives from each county.
